This app challenges the notion that Shogi is reserved for experts, as it provides an opportunity for players of all levels, from novices to seasoned professionals, to enjoy fast-paced online matches with various time controls: 10 MIN, 3 MIN, and 10 SEC. Additionally, offline matches against computer opponents are available.

Furthermore, Shogi Wars offers a ranking system (dan/kyu) through which players can apply for a Menjo (dan diploma) ranging from 6 dan to 5 kyu. This Menjo is officially recognized by the Japan Shogi Association.
